The region is home to some of the world’s most prestigious academic and research institutions, including Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Boston University.
The region’s industry is supported by MassBio, headquartered in Cambridge and now representing more than 1,700 organizations spanning early-stage startups through large multinational biopharma firms.
