It has many advantages over both woven cotton and synthetic non-woven fabric, as it is high quality, natural, safe, strong, durable, healthy and environmentally-friendly. Winner Medical’s patented manufacturing process enables the Company to produce PurCotton(TM) at a lower cost than the woven cotton products, and it can therefore offer customers a lower price without sacrificing its margin. The Company expects the new PurCotton(TM) products to be a growing contributor to its product revenue.
Winner Medical sells PurCotton(TM) products primarily in raw material jumble roll form. It supplies PurCotton(TM) raw materials to manufacturers and providers of consumer hygiene products. Between April 1, 2008 and June, 30, 2008, Winner Medical sold approximately 60 tons of PurCotton(TM) to manufacturers and distributors in Japan, China, the U.S., Korea, and Europe to be made into products such as cosmetic products, disposable diapers and feminine hygiene products.
