Tokyo, Mar 27, 2006 (JCN) - Shimadzu brought to market the DIGITEX Safire SP HC and DIGITEX Safire SP HF, two new models in its proprietary angiographic system DIGITEX series, on March 24. The new models, which consist of a direct conversion-type flat panel detector, X-ray tube, multiple image processing system and monitor, can carry out cardiac examinations and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) at a time. The devices with high operability can deliver ultra high-resolution images while reducing radiation exposure.
