Medical News Today -- Empirical medical treatment for idiopathic male factor infertility is a controversial issue. Several medications are used empirically for the treatment of idiopathic male factor infertility, including follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), antiestrogen, L-carnitine, and antioxidants.
