Bausch & Lomb Makes Three Management Appointments To Surgical Business

Bausch + Lomb, the global eye health company, has appointed three industry veterans to key management roles in its Surgical business.

Brad Paddock has been hired as vice president, Sales; Anthony Sine is appointed vice president, Business Development; and Elisabeth Sandoval is named vice president, Global Marketing.

“These three management appointments will immediately strengthen and positively impact our Surgical business for the benefit of our customers worldwide,” said Robert Grant, CEO and president, Bausch + Lomb Surgical. “With their knowledge, insights and demonstrated track record of success, they’ll complement our existing global leadership team.”

Mr. Paddock began his career at Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson), quickly becoming a top sales representative. He then joined Kyphon Inc., where he held sales management positions of increasing responsibility, leading the sales team for 35 quarters of consecutive growth. He was the company’s vice president of sales from 2004 until 2008, when it was acquired by Medtronic.

Mr. Sine began his career as an associate with Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison working primarily on venture capital financings and dispositions. He then moved to Greenberg Traurig where he focused on private equity, followed by a role at Latham & Watkins where he participated in a broad range of acquisition and licensing activities. Mr. Sine was most recently senior corporate counsel and assistant secretary at Allergan, Inc., where he completed over 15 M&A and licensing transactions.

Ms. Sandoval has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical and device experience. She began her career with Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson) in research and development. She then joined Allergan, moving from R&D into sales and marketing roles that spanned over 20 years. Ms. Sandoval was most recently vice president of Global Strategic Marketing for Allergan Medical, where she drove the launch of the market-leading Juvederm dermal filler and established the company’s worldwide marketing team.

The three executives will be based at the company’s Surgical business center in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
