This is Plymouth -- A PLYMOUTH pharmaceutical company has laid off 32 of its 47 staff blaming factors including a stalled £1.2million contract and the global recession. Derriford-based Veeda Clinical Research, which carries out drug safety trials, told staff there was not enough work to keep them all on.
