Medison Pharma has signed an exclusive agreement with the Dynabyte Group to evaluate its latest product, the Multiplate® analyzer, in Israel. Multiplate® analysis is currently the method of choice in many European and international blood-testing centers. It is regarded by many experts as the analyzer best suited for the clinical monitoring of antiplatelet activity. Multiplate’s advantage in analyzing platelet function is to utilize the analysis of whole blood. It rapidly detects the effects of the platelet inhibitors Aspirin®, clopidogrel and GpIIb/IIIa antagonists, and also the newer direct ADP receptor antagonists.
This device is highly suited to the era of personalized medicine, capable of delivering significant ‘resistance to treatment’ results for the first time in a real-time patient-physician setting.
