The biotechnology sector is one of the most dynamic in Spain. It has maintained an annual growth rate for turnover and job creation of 30% according to data from ASEBIO, the Spanish Association of Bio-companies. Spain attracts international projects and financing in biotechnology because it has a solid scientific base, highly qualified workforce, integrated health system, state-of-the-art infrastructures for innovation and major governmental backing. A fast-growing industry in a country with an extraordinary quality of life.
Business opportunities in Spain over the coming years will be linked to fields such as personalized medicine and advanced therapies, where interest is increasing in molecular diagnoses and related products.
In order to analyze opportunities in this field, the following people will participate in the online seminar: Jose Navas, Director of the Carlos III Health Institute, renowned for research into Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine, and Eduardo Bravo, CEO of Cellerix, a company success story for foreign investment being as it is a Spanish company renowned internationally and with the participation of a range of foreign investors.
