MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pacific Biosciences, a private company developing a disruptive technology platform for real-time detection of biological events at single molecule resolution, today announced it is co-sponsoring a summit on “New Biology” along with Sage Bionetworks, the Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Technology (SCBIT), and Tsinghua University. The meeting will take place at the International Conference Center, Tsinghua Science Park, in Beijing, China on August 19, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
