WSJ -- Amicas Inc. (AMCS) entered a $217 million deal to be bought by private-equity firm Thoma Bravo LLC as that industry continues a recent spate of buyouts. The private-equity industry has been relatively quiet on the acquisition front, but deal activity has been picking up in recent weeks as stocks continue to move higher and credit markets ease.
