Patrick “Pat” Gage, Ph.D., biopharmaceutical industry pioneer, has been appointed as the company’s Chairman of the Board. In this role, Dr. Gage will provide strategic leadership to the Tetraphase board of directors and work with the management team as the company advances its novel antibiotic drug candidates, which are designed to be effective against dangerous, drug-resistant bacteria, including multidrug-resistant (MDR) gram-negative pathogens.
