Steris Corporation Closes $165 Million Deal, Takes $20.5 Million Q4 Reshuffle Hit

Steris is axing jobs but others are hiring too! Check it out! (Isn't it tempting?)

Steris puts a ribbon on the $165 million acquisition of Integrated Medical Systems and reports its Q4 earnings, tallying a $20.5 million restructuring charge tied to the closure of its Hopkins, Ohio, manufacturing facility and the termination of 150 workers. Ohio infection control solutions provider Steris (NYSE:STE) closed the previously reported acquisition of Integrated Medical Systems, paying about $165 million for the surgical instrument management company. The deal closed earlier this month with Steris paying an additional $10 million for certain real estate assets owned by IMS.

Don't forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can't resist.)
