Previously, Ciesinski was chairman and CEO of Resumix, and led the company’s merger with HotJobs.com (now part of Yahoo!). He also was executive vice president of Octel Communications, and helped the company grow from a start-up to a leader in voice messaging products.

Ciesinski has a B.S. in electrical engineering and an A.B. in modern languages from Union College and an MBA from Stanford University. He is a trustee at Union College, chairman of the President’s Cabinet at Cal Poly California State University, and a member of three Stanford boards: the Graduate School of Business Management, Buck-Cardinal Student Athlete, and the Cardiovascular Institute.
