BERLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The BIOTRONIK team around Dr. Hans-Jürgen Wildau was nominated for the “Deutscher Zukunftspreis” an award conferred by the German Federal President for achievements in technology and innovation. This prize is considered the most important national award for scientific and technological innovations which have already proven themselves on the market. The selection of nominees honors the creative contribution made by their scientists and developers to the technological standard of German industry, to the generation of jobs and to the economic vitality of the country. German Federal President Horst Köhler will present the winner of the “Deutscher Zukunftspreis” on December 2, 2009.
