MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Medtronic Foundation today announced that 18 students have been selected as 2009 Medtronic Scholars. Each will receive a four-year scholarship for $16,000, as well as support services to assist them in their collegiate studies. Comprised of students from nine Twin Cities’ north suburban high schools, the class of 2009 Medtronic Scholars will be honored at a June 18, 2009 celebration at Medtronic World Headquarters in Fridley.
