WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - April 01, 2010) - Medicure Inc. (“Medicure” or the “Company”) (NEX: MPH.H) today announced it has reached agreement with the lender under its secured debt financing agreement dated September 17, 2007 to a further deferral of required payments of approximately US$2.1M until April 9, 2010. The agreement allows the Company to continue its discussions with the lender regarding its payment obligations, and to explore restructuring and/or financing strategies.
The Company is continuing its strategic review process as previously announced on January 13, 2010.
