Biogen Idec, Inc. (Massachusetts) Earnings up on Higher MS Drug Sales

Reuters -- Biogen Idec Inc (BIIB.O) said on Tuesday its second-quarter earnings rose on higher sales of its multiple sclerosis drugs. Net profit rose to $293.4 million, or $1.12 a share, from $143 million, or 49 cents a share, a year earlier.
