PEABODY, Mass., April 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Analogic Corporation (Nasdaq:ALOG), a leading provider of medical imaging and aviation security technology, announced today that it has received an order from L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems, Inc. for EXplosive Assessment Computed Tomography (EXACT®) systems valued at approximately $9.7 million. The TSA-certified eXaminer 3DX®, developed by Analogic and L-3 Communications, incorporates the EXACT subsystem. This new order is expected to start shipping in the third quarter of fiscal 2010.
