ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is a partner on two federal projects that aim to increase awareness and adoption of patient-centered outcomes research, also known as comparative effectiveness research. The research provides evidence that allows organizations, such as health plans, to select the best medicines for patients’ needs. The awards were announced in September by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
