ReadyWrap is designed to aide people who may have trouble donning standard elastic stockings or would like the potential benefits provided by inelastic and short-stretch garments. As stated in Földi’s Textbook of Lymphology, inelastic garments provide a lower resting pressure and higher working pressure than elastic garments.
This enables the garment to provide compression based on the patient’s need.
ReadyWrap is currently available for the ankle or calf in two styles: Professional and Quick-Fit. ReadyWrap Professional utilizes a 50% overlap of the inelastic straps to mimic traditional short-stretch bandaging, and features a unique dual closure mechanism that provides a consistent compression level set by the medical professional. ReadyWrap Quick-Fit is a more economical version which also uses the 50% overlap, while the compression is set by the patient.
