(Nasdaq:RMTI), a fully-integrated biopharmaceutical company offering innovative products and services targeting end-stage renal disease (ERSD), chronic kidney disease (CKD) and iron deficiency anemia, reported first quarter 2009 sales of $12.8 million, up 3.1% from $12.4 million for the same period of 2008. Loss for the first quarter 2009 was ($1.7) million or ($.12) per share compared to ($1.2) million or ($.09) per share for the same period 2008.
