(Nasdaq:ISRG), the industry leader in surgical robotics, today reported fourth quarter 2008 revenue, consistent with its pre-release of January 7, 2009, of $231.5 million, increasing 22% from $189.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2007. Fourth quarter 2008 revenue growth was driven by continued robotic procedure adoption.
