ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InSite Vision Incorporated (AMEX:ISV) today reported financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2007. The Company reported total revenue for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007 of $8.3 million compared to $1,000 in the third quarter ended September 30, 2006. Revenue includes the first royalty payment from Inspire of $436,000 for the sales of AzaSite™ (azithromycin ophthalmic solution) 1%, launched in August 2007. The bulk of the revenue for the three and nine month periods reflects the amortization of the upfront license fee and milestone payment previously received under the Company’s license agreement with Inspire Pharmaceuticals.
