Cardiff, UK – 10th September 2013 – EKF Diagnostics, the global point-of-care diagnostics business, announces today that it is going the extra mile to fully support and train its customers. Already this year, EKF experts have travelled in excess of 80,000 miles to deliver the company’s 2013 Master Class Series. This series is designed to provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of EKF’s range of blood analyzers and the conditions they have been developed to diagnose and monitor, including diabetes and anemia.
The EKF Master Class Series gives end users and distributor’s direct access to EKF product experts to provide a sound understanding of new and existing analyzers for HbA1c, hemoglobin, glucose and lactate testing. Since January, delegates from over 50 distributor companies across 30 different countries have gained valuable hands-on experience and training in new point-of-care instruments and applications.
Following successful events in London, Dubai, Thailand and China, the Master Class Series will continue in Mexico City, 3rd to 4th October. At each event the interactive sessions showcase new products, such as the Quo-Lab HbA1c analyzer as well as new applications for existing products, including Hemo Control, Biosen and Lactate Scout+. Delegates are encouraged to share their knowledge and experiences of selling IVD products in a competitive marketplace.
Gavin Jones, one of EKF Diagnostics’ Product Managers commented, “As a Product Manager, the direct interaction with customers that our Master Class Series provides is invaluable, not only in terms of us imparting knowledge to customers, but also securing insights into how our products function in the field. This helps us to develop and enhance our products and services to suit our customers’ needs in different global locations.”
Delegates have found the EKF Master Classes to be extremely useful, appreciating the direct contact with EKF experts and opportunity for additional training. Gigi Veslino, MRL Cybertec Corporation, attended the Master Class in Shenzhen, China, and said: “The EKF Master Class was very informative, yet at the same time it was simple and easy to understand. This will certainly be a great help for us when explaining the key features and benefits of EKF products to our clients.”
She continued, “The event also provided an ideal opportunity for EKF distributors to share knowledge and strategies with one another. We look forward to attending future Master Classes on new products and updates, to ensure that we maintain our knowledge of EKF’s technologies.”
