ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 2006--Bausch & Lomb (NYSE:BOL - News) has named Gerhard Bauer, Ph.D., to be corporate senior vice president and senior vice president - Global Operations & Engineering, effective May 1. Bauer, 50, has been Bausch & Lomb vice president of Global Operations & Engineering for Europe since 2001. He succeeds Dwain L. Hahs, 53, who has been named Bausch & Lomb senior vice president and president - Asia Region.
