(NYSE: ZMH; SIX: ZMH), a global leader in musculoskeletal care, today announced it will showcase a new line of orthopaedic surgical power tools as part of the Company’s exhibit at the 2011 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) annual meeting in San Diego, CA. The new line was previously distributed under the SoPlus brand name. Zimmer acquired Switzerland-based Sodem Diffusion S.A., the manufacturer of SoPlus Orthopaedic Surgical Power Tools, in December 2010.
