SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2006--Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI - News): Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI - News) today reported second quarter 2006 total revenue of $330.0 million, an increase of 12% from the second quarter of 2005. Total revenue for the first half of 2006 was $649.3 million, a 13% increase from the prior-year period. Foreign currency exchange movements favorably impacted total revenue for the second quarter of 2006 by 1% compared to the corresponding period of the prior year, but did not impact first half revenue results significantly.
