FREDERICK, MD--(Marketwire - June 29, 2010) - BioElectronics Corporation (PINKSHEETS: BIEL), developers of innovative pain-relieving medical devices, announced today that its Allay™ Menstrual Pain Therapy product has been approved for over the counter sale by Health Canada for the treatment of menstrual pain symptoms, including cramps and abdominal pain, and for reducing the use of pain medication associated with menstruation, while ActiPatch™ is now approved by the South Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) for reduction of muscle pain.

The new approvals of our technology in these two markets build upon the growing momentum of global expansion for BioElectronics’ unique pain-relieving technology. Additionally, the Company recently secured an agreement for distribution of its products in Russia.
