Bairstow brings to RelayHealth more than 20 years of financial and operations experience within healthcare.
Most recently, Bairstow served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Vitria Technology-a publicly traded provider of business process and enterprise application integration (EAI) software. At Vitria, Bairstow led the company's worldwide financial, administrative, IT, and legal organizations.
Bairstow previously held executive positions at Health Net, one of the nation's largest publicly traded managed health care companies. As president of Health Net's government and specialty services division, Bairstow managed a portfolio of companies generating approximately $2 billion in annual revenues. He also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Health Net of California, where he directed financial operations, administrative functions, underwriting, actuary, and provider contracting.
America Service Group, Managed Health Network, Vendell Healthcare, Park Healthcare Company, and Health Industries of America round out the list of public and private healthcare companies at which Bairstow held senior positions in both operations and finance.
