Humana Names Vice President, Commercial Sales For Illinois

CHICAGO, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Humana Inc. has named Dave Reynolds to the position of Vice President, Commercial Sales, with responsibility for sales and account management activities in Illinois, where Humana serves more than 600,000 health plan members, making it one of the state’s largest health insurers.

In his new post, Reynolds will oversee Humana’s Illinois staff of sales and account management professionals and will work closely with insurance brokers, consultants and agents, promoting Humana’s complete portfolio of consumer-centered health benefits products, including medical, dental, life, and short term disability insurance. He will also focus on helping large, multi-location employers devise and implement sound health benefits strategies.

Reynolds, a Chicago native, brings more than 15 years of health care industry experience, most recently serving as Vice President for Payor Services for the WebMD Corporation. During his career, Reynolds has managed sales operations for Columbia/HCA as well as CCN, one of the nation’s largest preferred provider organization (PPO) networks. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University.
