NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Urovalve, a medical device company focused on creating superior products for urinary flow and control, reported today that it has been awarded a Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project (QTDP) grant from the U.S. government in the amount of $244,479 based on Urovalve’s 2009 research expenditures. In consideration of R&D spending for 2010, Urovalve projects that it will receive an additional grant of approximately $500,000 after submission of its 2010 tax returns.
