A new certificate program at the University of Delaware will teach pharmaceutical industry veterans, and those looking to break into the field, the ins and outs of organizing and managing clinical trials.The course, taught by Michele Welch, a study delivery director for AstraZeneca, will cover areas including organization, data collection, Food and Drug Administration regulations, safety, and legal and ethical issues.
