A delayed allergic response to corticosteroid drugs may occasionally develop in asthma patients who are treated with these medications, Finnish researchers report. They estimate that the rate of corticosteroid allergy in asthma patients is similar to that seen among dermatitis patients who are treated with topical steroids - between one percent and four percent.
