HSE-HA has introduced the Multiple-Channel Ventilator modular system for ventilation of one to eight large rodents at the same time.
Based on the PLUGSYS system, the Ventilator Sequencer Module (VSM) is used to set the respiratory rate (adjustable from 30 – 100 breaths per minute), I:E ratio and the maximum inspiratory pressure for all animals.
Use the VSM for Einthoven bronchospasmolysis tests on multiple animals. An optional MPX pressure transducer can be connected to the VSM head to record tracheal/airway pressure using the TAM-A Transducer Amplifier.
