Get a first-hand introduction to EMD Millipore’s groundbreaking Direct Detect™ Biomolecular Quantitation System designed to provide rapid, simplified measurement of protein concentration that overcomes the limits of traditional methods while matching the accuracy of amino acid analysis. The Direct Detect™ system offers:
- Unique combination of membrane technology and infrared (IR)-based spectrometry, enabling accurate, sequence-independent protein quantification with minimal sample amounts - Novel membrane technology allows for fast and easy analysis with little to no sample preparation - Protein quantitation without limitations of traditional Lowry and Bradford assays
Briefing will include:
Nuno Goncalves, Marketing Manager, will introduce the Direct Detect™ Biomolecular Quantitation System describing features that deliver: more universally applicable and faster protein quantitation with minimal sample amounts compared to traditional assay methods.
Ivona Strug, Senior Biochemical Scientist, will describe how the unique, hydrophilic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane technology enables fast infrared analysis of aqueous biological samples, delivering accuracy and reproducibility comparable to those obtained by amino acid analysis.
