Houston, TX | July 29, 2010 -- Digisonics’ award winning image management and structured reporting system was recently implemented by Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Ga. The hospital will utilize the top-rated DigiView CVIS/PACS, along with DigiNet Pro, a fully functional web-based application to remotely view and edit studies from virtually anywhere with an Internet connection. The DigiView system will provide high-performance image analysis and end-user configurable structured reporting in a centralized and easily searchable database for multiple Cardiology modalities including Echo, Vascular Ultrasound, Nuclear and Cardiac Cath.
The integrated DigiView system will utilize DataLink modules to automate the transmission of patient demographics and measurements from the site’s ultrasound systems as well as a Hemodynamics Link that will also auto-populate hemodynamic measurement information from the site’s Siemens Sensis system directly into the CVIS database and Cath Lab structured reporting forms. Medical information will be transmitted using Digisonics HL7 interfaces for Orders-In and Results-Out with the site’s RamSoft RIS, while Digisonics Report-to-PACS feature will convert finalized reports for storage to the site’s RamSoft Enterprise PACS. Gateway Monitor software will proactively monitor system transmissions to help ensure an efficient and error free clinical workflow.
