VHA Recognizes 21 Health Care Organizations For Surpassing CMS And JCAHO Standards For Clinical Excellence

IRVING, Texas, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- VHA Inc. has recognized 21 VHA health care organizations for surpassing national standards for clinical excellence in the treatment of two common cardiac conditions. VHA recognized the organizations for their performance at its annual Leadership Conference, held this year on April 25-28 in San Diego.

Each of the following health care organizations performed all key processes of care for greater than 80 percent of patients being treated for congestive heart failure or heart attacks (organizations performing at this level represent clinical excellence, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations):
