The appointment comes at a pivotal time for SCA Cool Logistics, with a number of exciting new product launches being planned for 2012. SCA Cool Logistics is the first temperature-controlled packaging manufacturer in the UK to use multi-physics in its development processes, and has just been awarded the NX Digital Simulation Excellence Award for its simulation excellence.
The use of multi-physics simulation capability enables SCA Cool Logistics to significantly increase the efficiency of it’s design processes and allows a more expansive and innovative exploration of design solutions to meet customer requirements.

Hubbard is a graduate of the University of Leeds, where he was awarded a 1st class Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering and later studied at Imperial College London gaining a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Hubbard previously worked at Wirth Research Digital where he developed the company’s CFD capability from its early stages of application in LeMans series sportcars to performing efficient simulation of performance critical aerodynamic and thermal components of Formula One cars.
