Veteran fund manager Neil Woodford has put more money behind stem cell therapies by increasing his stake in ReNeuron. His firm, Woodford Investment Management, has bought 26,200,000 more shares in the Aim-listed biotech, bringing its stake up to 356,700,000 shares. The fund, which was already the single largest shareholder in the company, now controls nearly 20pc of the business, though the investment is still small compared to Mr Woodford’s entire fund.
