LENEXA, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VasoGenix Pharmaceuticals announced today that Judith A. Hemberger, Ph.D., has been elected to its board of directors. Dr. Hemberger is currently a director of Zymogenetics, Chroma, Atani Ltd., and Zosano Pharma. Previously, she was a director at Marion Merrell Dow, NeXstar Pharmaceuticals, Pharmion Corp., Perrigo Corp., Myogen and Novacca. Her corporate executive experiences include: interim CEO at Zosano; Co-Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pharmion; Head of Business Development at Avax Technologies; and numerous operational roles at Marion Merrell Dow and Hoechst Marion Roussel, where her final position was Senior Vice President, Global Regulatory Affairs.
