LONDON & WILMINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Two prominent thought leaders from Chiltern, a leading global contract research organization, will be among the featured speakers at Outsourcing Clinical Trials, West Coast, in San Mateo, Calif., Feb. 10-11.
“Realizing the Potential of the Mobile Ecosystem – Smoothing the Clinical Path to Market”
Randy Anderson, senior vice president of scientific affairs at Chiltern, will present “Speed, Efficiency, and Quality Via Collaborative Program-level Outsourcing,” as part of the Strengthening Partnerships track at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 10.
Anderson will explain how program-level outsourcing can improve efficiency in product development, saving time and cost and improving consistency of trials execution. Using specific examples, he will assess the advantages of a strategic research partnership, especially for small to mid-sized biopharma and device companies.
“Outsourcing at the program level instead of selecting companies on a trial-by-trial basis allows companies to develop relationships that streamline the entire process for subsequent projects,” Anderson said.
Prithul Bom, senior director of scientific strategy, medical device and diagnostics development at Chiltern, will co-present “Realizing the Potential of the Mobile Ecosystem – Smoothing the Clinical Path to Market” with Bill Evans, founder and senior vice president of innovation at Bridge Design, a Ximedica company. The presentation will be at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 11 as part of the medical device track.
Bom and Evans will provide a brief history of mobile medical application devices and consider emerging trends through case studies that bring to life some of the complexities and how they can be tackled.
Chiltern will be exhibiting at Booth 72 where these thought leaders and representatives of the clinical development and device & diagnostics teams will be available for meetings. Schedule a meeting with the team.
