Royston, UK (23 September 2009) - TTP LabTech will be holding a workshop on the Acumen eX3 platform during the MIPTEC Conference and Exhibition, 13-15 October 2009. The workshop, which will be held on Monday 12 October, will be co-hosted by Dr Sarah Payne, Product Manager at TTP LabTech Ltd and Dr Peter Lockey, Co-founder and Head of High Throughput Screening and Assay Development at Argenta Discovery.
The workshop programme features an opening presentation by Dr Payne, discussing the Acumen eX3’s unique ability to analyse High Content Assays at throughputs consistent with primary/secondary screening campaigns, followed by a presentation by Dr Lockey. Argenta Discovery has been using the Acumen eX3 in the development of a portfolio of functional cell based assays and Dr Lockey will discuss the range of cellular and toxicology assays being run in the different areas of Argenta’s oncology research and offered as part of their contract screening service.
