ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--St. Jude Medical, Inc. (NYSE:STJ), a global medical device company, today announced that its Board of Directors declared a third quarter dividend of $0.23 per common share. This dividend amount is equal to the dividend paid during the first and second quarter of 2012 and brings the total dividend declared for the year to $0.69 per share. The dividend is payable October 31, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012.
