Sleep Apnea May Increase Risk of Diabetes, Heart Attacks, American Thoracic Society Study

ATS 2007, SAN FRANCISCO—Researchers at the Yale University School of Medicine have found that patients with obstructive sleep apnea are at increased risk for developing of type II diabetes, independent of other risk factors.
