Tokyo, June 26, 2006 (JCN) - Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories (SNBL) announced on June 26 that it has completed a joint research project with Takeda Pharmaceutical. Since 2002, the two companies have collaborated in the search and analysis of organ-specific virulence-associated genes of cynomolgus (“crab-eating”) monkeys. The aim of this collaboration is to develop an effective tool for analyzing and estimating the toxicity of drug candidates.
