KENILWORTH, N.J., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Schering-Plough Corporation today announced the appointment of Andre van de Sande as general manager of Schering-Plough BV Netherlands based in Utrecht. He replaces Theo Nieuwenhuis as general manager of Schering-Plough BV Netherlands, who was recently appointed vice president, Global Marketing, for REMICADE(R) (infliximab).
Most recently general manager of Organon, the Netherlands, van de Sande has held several high-level positions at Organon, including executive director, Asia-Pacific; general manager, Hungary; and sales and marketing director, Belgium. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the Academy for Physiotherapy, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, a Master of Business Administration degree in Management from Tilburg University, the Netherlands, and a Master of Science in Management degree from Purdue University, USA.
