(Nasdaq: NSTR - News), a developer of medical devices for the treatment of neurological diseases and disorders, announced today the recent appointments of Susan Barnes, Albert J. “Jay” Graf and Robert McNamara to the company’s Board of Directors. These individuals bring many years of medical device expertise to the Board. The addition of these members and expansion of the Board is related to the recently executed initial public offering of Northstar Neuroscience. Ms. Barnes was appointed to the Board in February 2006 and Messrs. Graf and McNamara were appointed to the Board on May 10, 2006, the closing date of the company’s IPO.
