NanoInk, Inc. Names Senior Vice President And General Counsel

SKOKIE, Ill., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- NanoInk, Inc., an emerging growth technology company specializing in nanometer-scale manufacturing and applications development in the lifescience and semiconductor industries, today announced the appointment of JoAnne Smith Joyce as a member of the Company’s senior management team.

Ms. Joyce has been named Senior Vice President and General Counsel and will report to NanoInk President and Chief Executive Officer Cedric Loiret-Bernal, M.D. Ms. Joyce will head all legal activities, including management of the Company’s intellectual property strategy and transactional work. She will also manage outside counsel, Foley & Lardner and Seyfarth Shaw.

Ms. Joyce brings 19 years of legal experience to NanoInk with a special focus on transactional work, intellectual property and litigation. Most recently, Ms. Joyce worked at Great Lakes Chemical Corp., where she served as Vice President and General Counsel for its Performance Chemicals division. Prior to her position at Great Lakes, Ms. Joyce worked at Baxter International specializing in product liability and commercial litigation.

She began her legal career as a federal judicial clerk to Senior U.S. District Court Judge George Leighton and as a litigation and appellate law associate at Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon in Chicago. Ms. Joyce received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and graduated with distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
