COLUMBIA CITY - A Columbia City-based medical device manufacturer has announced plans to expand operations in Whitley County. Micropulse Inc. will invest $5.5 million to boost its machining and inspection capacity, creating 25 jobs.
The Whitley County Economic Development Corp. says the investment will cover new equipment that will be installed in the company’s 160,000-square-foot facility. The Whitley County Council has approved a 10-year tax abatement for the project.
