Clinical Solutions Group Focuses On Tech Roll Out With New Appointment

February 2010 - Clinical Solutions, the leading clinical decision support provider, has appointed Richard Atkins as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland.

The move comes at a time when Clinical Solutions continues to roll out its technology and content, in a managed service environment, to deliver clinical information and decision support across a number of channels.

The technology supports a range of scenarios from urgent face to face care, to situations where even less clinical presence is needed and where e-care can have a deep impact. Clinical Solutions’ combination of clinical content, software applications and managed IT infrastructure provides a one-stop-shop to organisations whatever their size and need.

Richard Atkins joins Clinical Solutions from Bace One Limited, a prime partner of Autonomy plc where he was Managing Director. Bace One Limited is a provider of advanced applications in the contact centre market to leading blue-chip organisations.

Richard has enjoyed a career spanning more than 30 years in which he has held a wide variety of UK and international roles in the areas of purchasing, commercial management, sales leadership and general management.

He has worked with both small and industry-leading companies and his experience includes telecoms, data communications and networking, telephony, CRM software, Contact Centre solutions, Knowledge Management and advanced search and retrieval software, and analytics.

Xavier Flinois, CEO at Clinical Solutions comments, “Richard’s appointment is a very timely addition to our team. As we continue to develop our portfolio of products, we can be confident that Richard will lead our UK and Ireland sales team to identify opportunity for market share. His commercial and technology experience will be an asset to our organisation.”
